About the Job
This position is responsible for painting and drywall support on various residential and commercial reconstruction and restoration projects. A reliable truck and necessary tools are required to complete work at a high skill level.
Responsibilities
- Paint surface areas according to instructions.
- Caulk, putty, cement, and plaster holes and cracks as needed.
- Prepare walls and surfaces for painting.
- Keep worksites clean and safe.
- Provide excellent customer service and protect job sites using protective covering.
- Communicate project status and changes with Project Managers and Superintendents.
- Maintain project documentation and execute required paperwork.
- Be available for on-call emergencies.
Requirements
- 2 years painting experience in restoration or construction (preferred).
- 2 years drywall experience (preferred).
- Self-motivated and independent work style.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Able to identify hazards and work safely.
- Meet the physical and mental demands of the job.
- Professional demeanor and teamwork skills.
- Satisfactory driving record and valid driver's license.
- Pass national background checks and pre-employment screenings.
