Your Responsibilities
- As a Service Technician, you will play a key role in supporting our customers by installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining propane appliances and systems.
- Ability to step in to deliver propane when needed is a plus.
- You will install, service, and troubleshoot propane appliances and storage systems for residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
- You will run gas service lines, set tanks, change out regulators, and ensure all installations comply with safety regulations.
- Ability to assist with bulk propane deliveries and operate a variety of vehicles, including tank trucks and trailers, following DOT safety requirements is a plus.
- You will perform light maintenance on vehicles, grounds, and facilities.
- You will complete service tickets, work orders, and records of work performed.
- You will serve as a trusted resource to customers, providing professional communication and customer support.
- Support emergency response and after-hours service calls as required.
What are we looking for?
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with strong reading, writing, and math skills.
- A valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (with Hazmat, Tanker and Air Brake endorsements) preferred.
- An excellent driving record.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of propane systems and appliances, with a focus on safety in handling, installation, and transportation.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy equipment, dragging hoses, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Dependability, a team-first attitude, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including after-hours and emergency calls.
