Cannabis Sales Rep

Blulight Cannabis is seeking passionate and knowledgeable Budtenders to join our growing team in Woodbury Heights, NJ.

As a Budtender, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and educational environment for our customers. We're looking for individuals who are dedicated, adaptable, and eager to share their cannabis knowledge to help customers find the right products for their needs.

What You'll Do:

• Provide top-tier customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Educate customers on our wide range of cannabis products, including product types, effects, and consumption methods.
• Offer personalized recommendations based on customer preferences and desired experiences.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using Treez POS while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked store environment, ensuring product displays are neat and appealing.
• Stay informed about current and upcoming products, promotions, and industry trends to better serve our customers.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance with cannabis retail laws.
• Support a team environment by assisting with opening and closing duties, side work, and maintaining common areas.
• Communicate low-stock items and inventory concerns to management promptly.
• Participate in periodic staff meetings and ongoing training to stay updated on product knowledge and industry best practices.

What We're Looking For:

• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A passion for cannabis and a desire to educate others.
• 1 years of customer service experience; retail experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
• Experience with Treez POS or similar retail systems is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to use standard office software such as email, spreadsheets, and point-of-sale systems.
• Willingness to continuously learn about cannabis products, cannabinoids, and industry trends.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license or state ID.
• Must pass all required background checks and comply with company policies and legal regulations.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, and balance up to 30 pounds (100 pounds with assistance).
• Ability to stand for extended periods, as well as bend, stoop, and perform repetitive motions.
