Position Summary
The Finance Manager is responsible for maximizing dealership profitability through the structuring of finance deals, sale of F&I products, and ensuring compliance with all lending and regulatory requirements. This role bridges the gap between sales and financial institutions while delivering a seamless and professional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Structure and finalize retail finance deals for powersports units (ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles, etc.)
- Present and sell F&I products including extended warranties, GAP coverage, maintenance plans, and protection packages
- Build and maintain relationships with lenders to secure competitive financing options
- Submit credit applications and negotiate approvals with banks and finance companies
- Ensure all deals are compliant with state and federal regulations
- Accurately complete and review all finance and title paperwork
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction during the delivery process
- Track and achieve performance goals such as product penetration, PVR (profit per unit), and approval rates
- Collaborate closely with sales, service, and parts departments to maximize overall dealership revenue
- Handle funding, deal auditing, and contract in-transit (CIT) management
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of finance or F&I experience (powersports, automotive, or similar retail industry preferred)
- Strong understanding of credit, lending practices, and deal structuring
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales and profit goals
- Excellent communication and closing skills
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience with dealership management systems (DMS)
- Knowledge of lender portals and indirect financing
- Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills
- Ability to turn cash deals into financed deals
- Compliance knowledge (OFAC, Red Flags, Truth in Lending, etc.)
Work Environment
- Fast-paced, high-volume dealership setting
- Weekend availability often required
- Performance-driven compensation structure (base commission/bonuses)
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
