OB/GYN Phone Nurse (LPN)

Bluff City OBGYN is seeking a compassionate, organized, and patient-focused Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing team as a Phone Nurse. This position plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care through telephone triage, patient education, and coordination of care in a fast-paced OB/GYN practice.

Responsibilities:

• Answer and triage incoming patient calls.
• Assess patient concerns and communicate with providers regarding treatment plans.
• Provide patient education and follow-up instructions.
• Review and respond to patient portal messages.
• Process prescription refill requests.
• Review laboratory and imaging results with patients as directed by providers.
• Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up appointments as needed.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the electronic medical record (Athena experience preferred).
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Current Tennessee LPN license.
• OB/GYN or women’s health experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and telephone triage skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
