Position Summary
The HR Operations & Recruiting Specialist supports the entire employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition and onboarding through day-to-day HR operations.
This position is responsible for coordinating recruiting activities, scheduling interviews, assisting hiring managers, managing new hire documentation, maintaining HR records, supporting employee training administration, and ensuring HR processes are completed accurately and on time.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-service focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Essential Responsibilities
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
- Post and manage job advertisements on multiple hiring platforms.
- Screen resumes and identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial candidate phone screenings.
- Schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Coordinate interview logistics and candidate communication.
- Maintain applicant records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Assist hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Prepare offer letters and hiring documentation.
- Track recruiting metrics and hiring activity.
- Support hiring events and job fairs when needed.
Training Administration
- Track employee training completion.
- Maintain training records and documentation.
- Coordinate training schedules.
- Prepare training reports.
- Ensure training compliance documentation is accurate.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Human Resources and/or Recruiting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong customer service mindset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Speak English
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Experience with electronic document management.
- Experience with timekeeping systems.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
