Job Title: Structural Welder
Start Date: June 8
Employment Type: Short term, rolling contract with likely extensions
Schedule: 7 days/week, 12 hour days
Per Diem: Daily Per Diem available
Location: Cape Canaveral, FL
Requirements
- 4 years of structural welding experience
- AWS D1.1 certification preferred
- Experience with flux-core and stick welding
- Ability to work at heights in industrial construction environments
- Must pass an onsite weld test
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Perform structural welding on carbon steel components
- Complete flux-core and stick welds to specification
- Support steel erection and structural installation activities
- Work safely at elevated heights and in active construction environments
- Follow welding standards, site safety procedures, and project schedules
- Collaborate with construction crews to complete assigned work scopes
Ideal Candidate
- Strong experience in structural carbon steel welding
- Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working long shifts in demanding field environments
- Able to work efficiently in heavy industrial construction settings
