Role: IT Systems Analyst
Location: Onsite - Hawthorne, CA
Employment Type: 13 week W2 Contract to full-time conversion
Shift: Day Shift
Hours: 40 hours/week
Compensation: $45/hour
Requirements:
- 4 years of IT systems administration or datacenter technician experience
- Strong hands-on hardware experience
- Comfortable with rack and stack, cabling, imaging, and hardware deployments
- Strong troubleshooting mindset
- Willing to perform operational and physical IT work
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits
- Comfortable working independently and supporting engineering customers
- Strong customer service skills
- Able to maintain operational excellence while handling repetitive tasks
Responsibilities:
- Deploy new IT infrastructure including networking, server, and desktop hardware
- Image systems and prepare devices for deployment
- Perform system decommissions and hardware retirement activities
- Rack and stack servers, switches, and network equipment
- Monitor IT services and respond to incidents
- Perform daily walkdowns of datacenters and IT rooms
- Provide front-line support to engineering customers
- Support desktop hardware and infrastructure deployments
- Process incoming IT inventory and audit on-hand spares
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, port mappings, and design drawings
- Support cable management and hardware organization activities
