Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, and well-organized Registered Nurse to join our leading aesthetic plastic surgery practice. The ideal candidate has experience in plastic surgery, surgical nursing, or dermatology and a strong interest in aesthetic medicine.
This role is within a private practice and requires a personable, detail-oriented RN with a proactive, compassionate approach suited to a medical-aesthetic environment. The RN will work closely with the physician and patients, providing education on cosmetic options, assisting with consultations, and managing pre- and post-operative care.
Responsibilities include assisting with cosmetic procedures, including neurotoxins and dermal fillers, as well as performing aesthetic laser treatments for skin rejuvenation and hair removal. Prior aesthetic plastic surgery experience is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida (Required)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (surgical or specialty preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented medical practice
- Professional, compassionate bedside manner
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Experience
- Valid RN license with current registration in the state of practice.
- Plastic surgery experience (pre-op, intra-op, or post-op care)
- Operating Room (OR) or surgical nursing background
- Familiarity with cosmetic and reconstructive procedures
- Prior work in an aesthetic or cosmetic medical practice
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, documentation standards, and EMR/EHR systems such as DrChrono.
Responsibilities
- Pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments
- Assist with in-office procedures and minor surgical cases
- Provide patient education on procedures, aftercare, and recovery
- Monitor patient safety, comfort, and outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation (EHR experience preferred)
- Follow all safety, infection control, and clinical protocols
- Assist with or perform aesthetic procedures as trained
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterile fields
- Support injector services
- Assist with lasers, skincare treatments, and post-procedure care
- Work closely with physician(s), providers, and clinical staff
- Maintain clinical inventory and supplies
- Uphold HIPAA, OSHA, and state regulatory standards
- Contribute to a professional, team-oriented work environment
Schedule & Locations
- Monday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- rotating weekend on-call duties for patient calls/texts (typically no more than a couple of hours, if that), and providing coverage at our Santa Rosa Beach/Watersound location if needed
- Part-Time: Between 8-16hrs/week
