Electrician PositionPay: $24.00 - $30.00 plus per hour

Job description:Job Overview
We are hiring a lead electrician with COMMERCIAL experience; applicant must have a minimum of 10 yrs experience required and able to run a job on their own. Must have driver's license, able to pass background check and drug test, personal tools, and verifiable experience. Our typical work week is m-th 10hrs a day, occasionally we will work m-f. Pay range is $24-$30hr based on experience and willingness to travel. Some travel is required with room and board provided with up to $50 per day per-diem, but always home on the weekends. THIS IS NOT A MAINTENANCE POSITION !!

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in commercial buildings and homes.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with NEC regulations and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to diagnose problems accurately.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used on job sites.

Skills

• Proficient knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage applications.
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
• Ability to use various testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters for troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with hand tools required for electrical installation and repair tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
