The Role
As a Leasing Consultant with Bluevale Capital, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Real Estate Professional looking to continue growing their career with a dynamic & fast-paced team.
You’ll play a key role in showcasing our portfolio of Connecticut properties supporting end-to-end leasing operations.
Responsibilities
Leasing & Sales Support
Conduct thorough property tours for prospective residents, emphasizing features and benefits tailored to their needs and lifestyle.
Present rental rates, lease terms, and property policies clearly and confidently.
Follow up with prospects in a timely manner to nurture leads and close leases.
Prepare and explain leasing documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with fair housing laws.
Assist applicants throughout the leasing process, including application submission, screening, and approval.
Resident Relations
Coordinate move-in processes, including pre-inspections and checklists.
Address minor resident concerns or maintenance requests and escalate to Property Owner and/or Property Manager when needed.
Administrative Duties
Maintain detailed & accurate leasing records, including applications, screening documentation, and lease files.
Input and update data in property management software with high attention to detail and in a timely manner.
Assist in generating daily, weekly, or monthly leasing reports to track occupancy and lead activity.
Marketing & Outreach
Collaborate with the Leasing & Asset Management team to implement and support marketing campaigns.
Contribute content ideas for social media, email blasts, and digital listings (e.g., Apartments.com, Zillow).
Help organize and participate in community events, open houses, and any new resident-related activities.
Distribute flyers and promotional materials in surrounding neighborhoods and local businesses as needed.
Property Presentation
Ensure model units and common areas are clean, well-staged, and stocked with brochures.
Conduct daily inspections of leasing office, model units, and amenities to ensure readiness for tours.
Report any property or maintenance issues promptly to ensure a positive impression for prospective tenants.
Compliance & Policies
Stay up to date on local and State housing regulations and fair housing laws.
Ensure all leasing practices are in full compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Skills & Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, Communications, Real Estate, or related field preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self-starter who is eager to take initiative under limited supervision
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
Personable, positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning property management software
Flexibility and availability to work weekends or evenings as needed
Prior customer service or sales experience is a plus but not required
