We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer with experience building modern web applications and AI-powered solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, AWS, and Generative AI technologies. You'll be responsible for designing scalable applications, developing REST APIs, integrating AI services, and delivering high-quality user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build responsive and reusable frontend components using React and TypeScript.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Design scalable backend services with strong focus on performance, security, and reliability.
- Build AI-powered features using OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, Claude, or similar LLMs.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using vector search technologies.
- Integrate AI applications with Amazon OpenSearch, embedding models, and document retrieval pipelines.
- Develop applications using AWS services including S3, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and SQS.
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and improve scalability.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, QA Engineers, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in Java development.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and REST API development.
- Hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience building microservices and distributed applications.
- Strong SQL skills with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar databases.
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
- Understanding of authentication and security (OAuth2, JWT, REST security).
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile development practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Generative AI platforms such as OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, Claude, or Azure OpenAI.
- Experience using Spring AI, LangChain, or similar AI frameworks.
- Knowledge of RAG architecture, embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.
- Experience with Amazon OpenSearch or other vector search platforms.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, structured outputs, and LLM evaluation.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture using SQS, Kafka, or similar messaging systems.
Nice to Have
- Angular experience.
- Experience with ProseMirror, rich text editors, or content management platforms.
- Experience with Micro Frontends.
- Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and frontend performance optimization.
