Bluestone Environmental Group, Inc. (Bluestone) is seeking a Junior Environmental Scientist to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse environmental projects, primarily at Department of Defense (DoD) installations across the continental U.S., and contribute to high-quality technical deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct field work in support of:
- Multi-media environmental sample collection
- Inventories
- Subcontractor oversight
Develop project documentation, including Health and Safety Plans
Summarize field activities and prepare technical reports
Assist with data compilation, technical writing, and regulatory review
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Technical writing experience
- Ability to work on military installations (U.S. Citizenship required)
