What You'll Do
As our Lead Dental Business Assistant, you'll help lead the front office team while ensuring patients receive an outstanding experience from the moment they walk through our doors.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading and supporting the daily operations of the business office
- Creating a welcoming, positive experience for every patient
- Managing dental accounts receivable and maintaining outstanding A/R within industry standards
- Developing and maintaining efficient payment and collection systems
- Building positive relationships with patients, teammates, and providers
- Helping create an organized, collaborative, and accountable work environment
- Communicating effectively with patients regarding financial arrangements and insurance benefits
- Identifying opportunities to improve systems and office efficiency
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate has:
- 3 years of dental (or medical) front office experience, including significant responsibility for dental accounts receivable
- A proven track record of maintaining healthy A/R and implementing efficient collection systems
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Natural leadership abilities with a desire to mentor and support others
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to prioritize, problem solve, and remain calm in a busy environment
- A positive attitude and team-first mindset
- Experience building strong relationships with both patients and teammates
- A desire to grow professionally into future leadership opportunities
