Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Café Team Leader is to perform several job duties under the guidance of the HBC Manager including: daily oversight and coordination of the café, training new Café Team Members, and performing all responsibilities of a Café Team Member.
Essential Job Functions:
- Monitor and follow up on the cleanliness and sanitation of café.
- Perform audits on all cleaning logs on a regular basis.
- Ensure that adequate supplies are maintained to perform daily tasks.
- Ensure that staff is adequately oriented and trained.
- Role model responsibility for personal safety and safety of others.
- Perform all duties listed on Café Team Member job description.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to operate a computer and handle basic cash transactions
- Must be responsible, accountable, dependable and flexible
- Must enjoy working with the elderly and be able to understand their needs
- Prefer ServSafe certificate or willing to achieve a certificate
Physical Requirements:
Medium Work – Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly.
