Role Description
We are seeking a highly organized and collaborative professional to manage end-to-end order fulfillment activities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of customer orders. This role serves as a key liaison between plant operations, customer service, business units, and subsidiaries, providing clear and transparent communication on order status and the ability to meet On-Time In-Full (OTIF) targets.
The Order Fulfillment Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in York, SC. This role is responsible for monitoring order book levels, maintaining fulfillment reporting, supporting scheduling activities in SAP, and proactively identifying risks impacting service levels. This individual will work cross-functionally to minimize backorders, resolve order issues, and support the plant S&OE process with data-driven insights on performance and trends.
Additionally, the role plays a critical part in customer satisfaction by coordinating internal stakeholders, supporting crisis management initiatives when needed, and ensuring customer prioritization is effectively addressed. Serving as the primary point of contact for orders across York and ESAS plants, this position actively contributes to continuous service level improvement and strong alignment between Operations and Sales & Marketing.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Graduate or GED (General Equivalency Diploma) required
- Minimum 4-6 years of industrial experience, understanding material flows, inventory management and cross functional communication
- Prior experience working on supply chain / logistics role preferred
- Knowledge of SAP (or similar ERP)
- MS Office Skills, including working knowledge of Excel
- Strong organizational skills with detail and accuracy orientation
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across departments and stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a diverse team environment.
