We are seeking motivated and safety-focused individuals to join our Production team as a Chemical Operator I. This role is responsible for supporting the safe and efficient manufacturing of silicone products by operating production equipment, preparing and monitoring chemical batches, and ensuring adherence to established operating procedures.
The Chemical Operator I will work closely with production team members and other cross-functional partners to meet production schedules, maintain product quality, and support continuous improvement efforts across the facility. This position plays an important role in maintaining safe operations, ensuring compliance with quality and environmental standards, and contributing to overall manufacturing performance.
The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and a positive, team-oriented approach to manufacturing operations. Success in this role requires adaptability, a willingness to learn, and the ability to consistently follow established procedures while supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to understand and follow written procedures, work instructions, and verbal directions.
- Ability to learn manufacturing processes, production equipment, and operating procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and accurate documentation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business and production needs.
- Willingness to cross-train and support multiple production operations.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including a respirator when required.
