We are seeking an experienced Operations Specialist to execute and enhance the core operational functions of our RIA. This role is central to ensuring accuracy, consistency, and operational oversight.
This individual will focus on standard RIA back and middle office activities, including best execution analysis, trade allocation and aggregation review, pricing and valuation oversight, performance reporting validations, and daily portfolio accounting controls.
The ideal candidate is detail oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast paced, high accountability environment.

What you’ll Do:
- Support monthly and quarterly client reporting cycles, ensuring data completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain data integrity across CRM, portfolio accounting, and reporting platforms.
- Document repeatable workflows and maintain procedure guides for operational tasks.
- Maintain audit ready documentation for trading, valuation, and reconciliation processes.
- Support compliance in examinations related to trading practices, best execution, and operations.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to strengthen operational controls.
- Perform and document best execution reviews, including transaction cost analysis, venue review, and qualitative assessments.
- Monitor trade aggregation and allocation to ensure fairness, timeliness, and compliance with firm policies.
- Investigate and resolve breaks related to cash, positions, pricing, and corporate actions.
- Validate performance reporting inputs and outputs to ensure accuracy for advisors and end clients.
- Review daily security prices, ensuring accuracy and identifying missing or stale values.
- Validate valuations for less‑liquid securities when needed.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Series 65 preferred.
- 2 years of experience in RIA operations, investment operations, or performance/reporting roles preferred.
- Experience with best execution reviews, reconciliation, portfolio accounting, or investment operations workflows preferred.
- Understanding of SEC regulations applicable to RIAs and familiarity with industry operational standards preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability, with comfort working across large and complex data sets.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and advisors.
- Familiarity with common RIA fintech systems, such as Orion, Black Diamond, Addepar, Salesforce, Redtail, or similar platforms preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment balancing multiple priorities.
