Senior IT Project Manager – Healthcare PMO
A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to join its Project Management Office (PMO) in a contract-to-hire capacity. This role is responsible for leading enterprise-wide, high-impact IT initiatives supporting critical healthcare operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple large, complex IT projects from initiation through delivery
- Own scope, schedule, budget, risks, and change control
- Partner with executive sponsors, clinical leaders, and technical teams
- Manage vendors and third-party partners
- Ensure adherence to PMO standards, governance, and documentation
- Develop project reporting, ROI analysis, and executive communications
- Mentor junior project managers and contribute to PMO best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5–9 years of IT project management experience
- Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
- Experience managing enterprise-scale initiatives
- PMP certification required (or within 6 months of hire)
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to relocate to New Mexico upon conversion
