Job Description
Pharmacist
BlueSky Pharmacy LLC is a Long-term Care pharmacy in Gretna, NE. BlueSky Pharmacy is committed to ensuring safe, effective, and compliant medication therapy for residents in long‑term care settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve drug‑related problems, including interactions, duplications, contraindications, and inappropriate dosing.
- Provide clinical recommendations to prescribers and facility staff to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
- Verify prescriptions and ensure accurate dispensing.
- Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff, prescribers, and facility administrators.
- Communicate recommendations clearly and professionally to interdisciplinary teams.
- Assist with formulary management and cost‑effective medication use strategies.
- Support pharmacy technicians and other staff as needed.
Pharmacy Hours
- Monday-Friday 9:00 AM-5:30 PM
- Weekends as needed
- Occasional rotating on call

Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist (PharmD Preferred)
- LTC experience preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in medication reconciliation and MAR documentation
- Experience training and mentoring pharmacy staff
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions
- May involve standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs
- Flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
