PURPOSE STATEMENT:

Blueroot Health is looking for a strategic, data-driven leader to own our global presence in the Amazon marketplace. As the Director of Amazon Strategy, you will be the ultimate subject matter expert responsible for the growth, profitability, and operational excellence of our multi-brand portfolio which include Vital Nutrients, Fairhaven Health, Bariatric Fusion, and Unjury. You will design the roadmap to scale our health and wellness brands, ensuring we outperform category benchmarks through a blend of innovative marketing, precise inventory planning, and high-performance advertising.

What You’ll Do (major Responsibilities)

  • Strategic Growth: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales & marketing strategy for BlueRoot Health’s brand portfolio on Amazon.
  • Digital Marketing: Own the end-to-end Amazon PPC strategy, including Sponsored Products, Brands, and Display, while optimizing ACoS, TACOS, and ROAS.
  • Digital Shelf Excellence: Lead Amazon SEO initiatives, overseeing the optimization of product titles, bullet points, A Content, and Brand Stores to drive organic ranking and conversion.
  • P&L Management: Manage the full Amazon P&L, including budget forecasting, digital media investments, margin analysis, and promotional calendars.
  • Operational Oversight: Partner with Supply Chain and Finance to manage the FBA inbound strategy, inventory forecasting, and account health compliance to avoid stockouts and chargebacks.
  • Insight-Driven Leadership: Translate complex marketplace data into actionable weekly reporting for executive leadership, identifying emerging patterns and competitive threats.
  • Key Relationships: Collaborate and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional partners including Marketing/Brand, Supply Chain, Technology, and Finance, as well as external agency partners, to support communication, coordination, and the successful execution of role responsibilities.

What You’ll Need (knowledge/Skills/Experience)

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field required; MBA is a plus.
  • 7 years consumer product sales experience required
  • 5 years Ecommerce sales experience; Health & Wellness Ecommerce experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience with Amazon.
  • Proven experience establishing effective pricing and promotional activities to increase sales and market share for the company and its customers.
  • Financial acumen; experience managing a P&L or budget and forecasting.
  • Experience with project management including project planning and management in a complex, fast-moving environment.
  • Strong relationship and account management experience; well versed in working collaboratively with partners and customers to drive initiatives that deliver on goals.

Preferred Experience

  • Proven success delivering profitable growth with Seller Central and FBA.
  • Strong revenue generating skills.
  • Ability to lead autonomously while getting buy-in from Executive Leadership
  • A Dynamic leader who can push past obstacles, overcome objections, and motivate a team.
  • Ability to determine and elicit creative solutions and push beyond the obvious to deliver recommendations that cover new or “unchartered” territories.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; articulate communicator who can quickly synthesize data.
  • Practice active listening with customers, gaining insights, and moving objectives forward.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize, shift priorities as required and ultimately meet deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and exhibit follow-through.
  • Problem solver with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Experience or interest in leveraging AI tools to drive efficiency.
  • Familiar with ACoS, TACOS, and ROAS.
