Our client's well-established heavy civil and paving construction company is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead their transportation, dispatch, and fleet operations. • The estimated pay range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000 based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee management of company-owned and independent transportation assets, including a fleet of 60-80 trucks combined.
• Direct dispatch operations and coordinate activities with brokered trucking partners.
• Supervise a team of trucking foremen to ensure seamless logistics operations.
• Facilitate fleet maintenance, inspections, and compliance to guarantee vehicle readiness.
• Develop strategies to enhance transportation efficiency and reduce costs, while ensuring adherence to DOT regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in logistics, transportation, or fleet management within the construction, civil, or asphalt sectors.
• Proven experience in managing transportation operations within heavy civil construction or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance, dispatching, and transportation logistics.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; proficiency with transportation management software is a plus.
• Current CDL license is highly preferred.
