ABOUT BLUEPRINT SPORTS AGENCY: At Blueprint Sports Agency, we build and operate NIL and revenue models that are sustainable, compliant, and aligned with our campus partners’ priorities. Since 2021, our team has helped raise and direct more than $170 million in NIL compensation to college athletes, giving departments clearer roster strategies, stronger donor engagement, and more predictable revenue streams.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

Events

  • Solicit, plan, and manage the setup and execution of local events hosted by the property, ensuring they meet Maryland Athletics expectations, brand standards, and revenue objectives. 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with student-athletes, coaches, athletics staff, school and conference representatives, and third-party vendors to support smooth event operations. 
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the college events landscape and trends in the local community and broader sports industry, applying insights to enhance event concepts and experiences.
  • Coordinate and manage background research on potential events, clients, and customers, proactively preparing briefs and summaries for senior members of Blueprint Sports leadership and Maryland athletic administration.
  • Provide hands-on guidance and direction to event support staff and game-day personnel to ensure operational excellence and high-quality experience for all stakeholders. 
  • Design and execute fan and donor-facing experiences tailored to student-athletes, alumni, and the local community, with a focus on engagement, storytelling, and measurable outcomes. 

Additional Revenue Programming

  • Assist the third-party leadership team in defining and evolving revenue programs and growth strategies, serving as the day-to-day owner for executing these initiatives across the local community and the greater regional area. 
  • Develop and run solicitation campaigns and promotions for sweepstakes, auctions, exclusive facility tours, and on/off-campus events, aligning each initiative with revenue and engagement goals. 
  • Collaborate, along with athletics department leadership, with key stakeholders across the school, alumni base, donor community, and local partners to drive participation, revenue growth, and long-term supporter retention. Prepare clear strategic recaps and performance summaries for Athletics and the third-party leadership team, using data and insights to recommend optimizations and future growth opportunities
  • Serve as a primary coordinator with property NIL partners, in conjunction with partner athletics leadership team, overseeing timelines, deliverables, and communication for client fulfillment and activations tied to student-athlete NIL.
  • Assist in planning and on-site coordination for NIL-related events, appearances, and activations, serving as a day-of point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-departmental coordination to gather research, data, and content that highlights property NIL growth, community impact, and key accomplishments, ensuring consistent messaging across channels

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics, traits, and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited college or university, alumni, and/or former student-athlete preferred but not required
  • At least three (3) years of experience in sports, consumer marketing, or B2B sales within media/agency/radio/TV sales, or talent representation
  • At least two (2) years of experience organizing and running events
  • Proven track record of quickly developing and maintaining strong and lasting relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Possess a conscientious attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity and honesty, and has a reputation as the person who always does the right/fair thing
  • Be proactive and self-motivated by a will to achieve results and win
  • Must possess an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-level results
  • Ability to work nights/weekends/sporting events and travel (<10%) as needed
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite(s)
  • Role is located in the College Park, MD area
