What are the responsibilities and job description for the Premises Liability Consultant position at Blueprint Hires?
An industry-leading construction and forensic consulting firm is seeking a Premises Liability Consultant to help them provide clear, defensible analysis of building conditions that impact safety and legal liability. You will contribute by identifying hazards, evaluating compliance, and delivering expert insights that support case outcomes at their Colorado or Texas offices.
Your Day Includes
- Conducting code compliance reviews for ADA, local, state, and federal building regulations
- Performing forensic investigations of incident sites, including stairs, ramps, walkways, lighting, and surfaces
- Reconstructing accidents using field measurements, photos, and 3D modeling techniques
- Evaluating standard of care for design professionals, contractors, and property owners
- Reviewing construction documents, contracts, and maintenance records to identify defects or negligence
Must Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field
- 5 years of experience in forensic consulting, building inspections, or code compliance analysis
- Active GC, PE, or AIA license required
- Proven business development experience, including client relationship management and project acquisition
