An award-winning U.S. design firm that provides architecture, planning, and interior design services focused on complex, community-oriented projects and mass-timber innovation across diverse building types is seeking an Intermediate Architectural Designer to help them transform complex urban development opportunities into thoughtful, high-quality architectural solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with project teams to develop innovative concepts for multi-family, hospitality, and mixed-use projects, bringing ideas from initial sketches through design development in LA.
Your Day Includes
- Developing creative architectural concepts and design solutions for urban project sites
- Creating exterior elevations, massing studies, and presentation materials
- Producing hand sketches, 3D models, and visualizations using SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Suite
- Collaborating with project teams, firm leaders, and clients to communicate design intent
- Supporting project design efforts in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Must Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required
- 3–5 years of professional architecture experience, including 2–3 years focused on multi-family design
- Strong design and form-giving abilities with extensive experience designing exterior elevations
- Proficiency in SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
