We are seeking a hands-on Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design and production ramp of industrial power distribution panels used in semiconductor equipment. This role will work closely with our experienced production team in Watsonville to transfer product knowledge and best practices while helping establish and scale a new production line in Milpitas. The position requires strong fundamentals in industrial power systems, electrical component selection, and build-ready documentation, along with the ability to collaborate across engineering and manufacturing teams. Expect to travel 1-2 days per week (initially) to Watsonville, CA

Key Responsibilities:
- Own electrical execution of 208V and 480V industrial power panels
- Interpret customer specifications and translate them into build-ready documentation
- Develop and maintain schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams
- Lead electrical component selection with focus on reliability, derating, and compliance
- Work closely with Watsonville production team to capture institutional knowledge and standardize best practices
- Support hands-on panel build, bring-up, and troubleshooting
- Define and support electrical test procedures
- Drive engineering change management and documentation control
- Improve manufacturability and reduce rework during production ramp
- Coordinate between engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5 years of experience in industrial electrical systems or power distribution
- Strong understanding of AC power systems (single-phase and three-phase)
- Experience selecting and specifying industrial electrical components (contactors, relays, SSRs, breakers, terminal blocks, etc.)
- Experience generating electrical schematics and panel documentation using ECAD tools (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or equivalent)
- Comfortable working in both lab and production environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with industrial control panels or power enclosures
- Exposure to UL or NEC standards
- Semiconductor or capital equipment background
- Experience supporting production ramp or new line setup

Base Pay: Starting at $160,000 annually. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
