Product Manager (Early-Stage / AI Platform)

Location: Seattle

Type: Full-Time

About BluePill AI

BluePill builds AI-powered digital consumers — AI humans modeled on real-world data and behavioral science — so brands can test ideas in minutes instead of weeks.

We’ve raised $6M from top-tier investors (Ubiquity Ventures, Pioneer Square Labs, Flying Fish Ventures, and leaders from Amazon, Sequoia, and more). We’re defining a new category at the intersection of AI, consumer insights, and decision-making.

The Role

We’re hiring an early-stage Product Manager to help build BluePill from the ground up.

This is not a “ticket-writing” PM role. You’ll wear multiple hats — product strategist, customer researcher, spec writer, prioritization program manager, and internal glue between engineering, research, and customers.

You’ll work directly with the CEO and core engineering team to shape what we build, why we build it, and how it actually gets used by customers.

If you enjoy ambiguity, speed, and building foundational systems before there’s a playbook — this role is for you.

What You’ll Do1. Build the Product While Figuring Out the Product
  • Turn messy customer problems into clear product bets.
  • Help define what “AI consumers” should actually do in real workflows.
  • Decide what not to build as often as what to build.
2. Be the Bridge Between Customers, Science, and Engineering
  • Sit in customer calls and translate real-world research needs into product requirements.
  • Work closely with AI/ML and behavioral science teammates to turn concepts into usable features.
  • Pressure-test ideas for clarity, usefulness, and speed — not just technical elegance.
3. Own Execution End-to-End
  • Write product specs, unblock decisions, and keep things moving.
  • Make trade-offs between accuracy, usability, and time-to-value.
  • Ship, learn, iterate — often with incomplete information.
4. Shape Trust & Quality (Without Slowing Things Down)
  • Help define how we measure and communicate accuracy, confidence, and limitations.
  • Ensure outputs feel credible and actionable to real customers.
  • Balance scientific rigor with startup velocity.
5. Do Whatever the Product Needs
  • Help with demos, decks, customer onboarding, and feature walkthroughs.
  • Sanity-check insights, outputs, and UX before customers see them.
  • Be opinionated, hands-on, and pragmatic.

You Might Be a Good Fit If You…
  • Have 4–7 years of PM experience, ideally at an early-stage startup or building 0→1 products.
  • Are comfortable operating without clear requirements or perfect data.
  • Enjoy wearing multiple hats and jumping between strategy and execution daily.
  • Can talk to customers in the morning and write specs in the afternoon.
  • Care deeply about building things people actually use — not just technically impressive systems.
Bonus (Nice to Have, Not Required)
  • Experience with AI/ML products, data platforms, or research tools.
  • Familiarity with consumer insights, experimentation, or analytics workflows.
  • Background in psychology, behavioral science, economics, or research-heavy domains.
Why This Role Is Different
  • You’ll help define a new product category, not optimize an existing one.
  • You’ll work directly with the founder and influence every major product decision.
  • You’ll have real ownership and visible impact — not layers of process.
  • You’ll help turn cutting-edge AI into something practical, trusted, and valuable.
