Founded by Drs. Peter and Faith Lotsikas, Skylos Sports Medicine, is an orthopedic and rehabilitation specialty practice that provides a unique concierge level of care for patients and their guardians in Ellicott City and Frederick, Maryland.
Schedule: Tues-Fri, 8am-6pm
Pay: $20.30 - $28.00 / hour
This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool.

As a Veterinary Assistant, You Will
- Provide nursing care to patients according to hospital standards of care and core values.
- Report patient signalment, problem list and plan during nursing rounds.
- Understand classification of commonly-used medications, associated side effects and appropriately monitors therapeutic response.
- Administer medications via appropriate routes and duration.
- Perform phlebotomy.
- Perform physical exam; accurately counts heart, pulse rate, capillary refill time, mucous membranes, temperature, respiratory rate and effort.
- Possess a working knowledge of anesthesia/monitoring equipment and assist with patients assigned ASA I or II classifications.
- Remain current on R.E.C.O.V.E.R CPR guidelines and demonstrates proficiency in designated role as assigned by attending clinician and/or supervisor.
