Schedule: Daytime, Thurs-Sat every other Wed, 7am-7pm
Pay: $22.50 - $32.80 / hour competitive shift differentials
This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool.

- Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $4.50/hr. Shift Differential
- Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $4.50/hr. Shift Differential
- Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $8.00/hr. Shift Differential
As An Emergency Veterinary Assistant, You Will
- Assist with nursing care to patients according to hospital standards of care and core values.
- Stock, clean and maintain cleanliness in our ER, ICU and other designated areas for the role.
- Understand classification of commonly used medications, associated side effects and appropriately monitors therapeutic response.
- Administer medications via appropriate routes and duration under the guidance of an LVT.
- Perform radiography and lab work.
- Perform physical exam; accurately counts heart, pulse rate, capillary refill time, mucous membranes, temperature, respiratory rate and effort.
- Engage with our clients by performing triages, going over estimates and providing discharge instruction.
- Remain current on R.E.C.O.V.E.R CPR guidelines and demonstrates proficiency in designated role as assigned by attending clinician and/or supervisor.
