The Philadelphia location of BluePearl PA's Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center (VSEC) hospital is looking for a full time Veterinarian - Ophthalmologist to join 2 stellar DACVO colleagues with diverse cutting edge surgical experience at our other 2 local locations. We have trained and excellent technicians in support of this service. Flexible schedule. An enthusiastic collegial candidate with great communication skills is highly valued.
Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center (VSEC), a BluePearl hospital in Philadelphia, opened in 2013 and expanded in 2017 to 12,500 square feet.
Our Philadelphia hospital has more than 50 veterinarians on staff, offering a strong collaborative atmosphere with specialist consultations on a regular basis. We work in close partnership with VSEC 's Levittown hospital, which is a Level 1 Certified facility, the highest level of certification, awarded by the Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Society. We have 6 boarded ECC clinicians and an anesthesiologist to collaborate with management of the critical care patients. We have 31 board-certified clinicians boarded in anesthesiology, cardiology, clinical pathology, dentistry & oral surgery, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, emergency & critical care, holistic medicine & acupuncture, internal medicine, neurology/neurosurgery, oncology, ophthalmology, radiation oncology and surgery.
