Pay: $24.30 - $49.00 / hour on-call pay when applicable

- Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $4.00/hr. Shift Differential
- Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $4.00/hr. Shift Differential
- Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.50/hr. Shift Differential
- Assist in patient procedures using knowledge of anesthesia and analgesia related protocols and procedures, including formulating anesthetic plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Monitor anesthesia, trouble shoot anesthetic complications, and make appropriate interventions.
- Intravenous catheter placement, endotracheal intubation, and anesthetic equipment use and maintenance.
- Perform physical exam; accurately counts heart, pulse rate, capillary refill time, mucous membranes, temperature, respiratory rate and effort.
- Understand normal vital parameters and alerts doctor when abnormal.
- Set up intravenous fluids and CRI’s.
- Continuous expansion of knowledge and skillset: advanced anesthetic skills including epidurals, difficult airway intubation, and critical case management.
- Operate all brands of intravenous fluid pumps and can troubleshoot errors.
- Comfortable with medical math.
- Ability to take patient through entire procedure from start to finish (pre-op, monitoring, post-op, and recovery)
- Manage appointments, obtain histories, medical record keeping, invoicing, patient discharges, etc.
- Disconnect and connect patients from intravenous fluids aseptically.
- Monitor patient response to fluid therapy including signs of overload.
