BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring an extraordinary Specialty Veterinary Technician to provide support to our Specialty departments!
Pay: $22.00 - $44.00 / hour
This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through leveling system.
Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 16-24 hours per week

As a Part-Time Specialty Veterinary Technician (LVT III), you will:
- Provide advanced patient care, including triage, treatment, monitoring, and nursing care for hospitalized patients.
- Assist with emergency and specialty procedures while supporting clinicians with diagnostics and client communication.
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, sample collection, and laboratory testing.
- Administer medications and maintain accurate medical records.
- Perform anesthesia calculations, induction, monitoring, and recovery for surgical and diagnostic procedures.
- Prepare patients for surgery and maintain aseptic technique.
- Monitor ECGs and patient vitals, recognizing and communicating abnormalities.
- Maintain anesthesia equipment, surgical instruments, and treatment areas.
- Complete RECOVER CPR training and respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Credentialed Veterinary Technician (LVT/RVT/CVT).
- Minimum of 2 years of specialty or emergency veterinary experience preferred.
- Strong anesthesia and patient monitoring skills.
