Pay: $24.50 - $47.00 / hour competitive shift differentials

We Offer Competitive Shift Differential Pay For Eligible Hours Worked For Nights And Weekends. Shift Differentials Are Based On a 4-hour Minimum. For Example
As a Patient Care Technician, some of your responsibilities will include assisting with physical exams on patients, preparing supplies for treatments and procedures, performing in-house lab work, and monitoring patients after surgery. Good communication skills and compassion is a must. The right candidate will be comfortable assisting with the treatments and monitoring of critically ill patients.

- Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $4.00/hr. Shift Differential
- Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.50/hr. Shift Differential
- Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $4.00/hr. Shift Differential

As a Vet Tech, You Will
- Triage cases as they arrive at the hospital including obtaining vitals such as temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate and blood pressure.
- Assist the doctor with creating patient treatment plans and thoroughly explaining to owners.
- Monitor hospitalized patients after surgery.
- Have a complete understanding of normal ranges of patient vital signs, including but not limited to heart and respiratory rate, temperature, blood pressure and oxygen saturation.
- Obtain and interpret blood pressure and other vital signs and alert Veterinarian to changes and issues.
- Assist with phlebotomy and intravenous catheters.
- Identify patients at risk for arrest and assist with CPR.
- Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
- Have patience and empathy to address client concerns.
