As a Facilities Coordinator, You Will

As a Facilities Coordinator, You Will
- Perform cleaning and housekeeping duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, waste removal, and maintaining indoor and outdoor areas.
- Monitor facility cleanliness, safety hazards, security concerns, and supply inventory levels.
- Maintain hospital infrastructure and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, generator, oxygen systems, doors/access controls, and security systems.
- Perform routine repairs and maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, minor plumbing repairs, painting, fixture installation, and other general upkeep tasks.
- Troubleshoot facility, equipment, and technology-related issues and coordinate vendors, contractors, IT, or service providers as needed.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, installations, and warranty service.
- Support equipment research, purchasing, quotes, deliveries, invoices, and facility improvement projects.
- Manage receiving, sorting, storage, and tracking of deliveries, equipment, and supplies.
- Serve as a primary contact for facility vendors and contractors and ensure projects are completed through resolution.
- Respond to facility emergencies and support disaster preparedness efforts.
- Communicate facility concerns, damages, and operational issues to hospital leadership.
- Assist with other facility and operational needs as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in facilities, maintenance, operations, or related field preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer proficiency with the ability to troubleshoot common technology issues.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and proactively identify facility needs.
- Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset.
