About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Audiology Assistant to support our audiology team in delivering exceptional hearing healthcare. The ideal candidate is organized, patient-focused, and excited to play a key role in improving patients’ hearing wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support audiologists in daily clinical operations and patient care
- Prepare and maintain patient equipment, including hearing aids
- Perform basic hearing aid troubleshooting, cleanings, and supply management
- Assist patients with device insertion, maintenance instructions, and app connectivity
- Manage and update patient records accurately in our practice management system
- Coordinate scheduling, follow-ups, and patient communications
- Support telehealth appointments, including remote troubleshooting and equipment preparation
- Ensure compliance with clinic protocols, HIPAA, and manufacturer guidelines
- Help maintain a clear, organized environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hearing healthcare, medical assisting, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered mindset
- Comfortable with technology, Bluetooth devices, and basic troubleshooting
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Certification as an Audiology Assistant is a plus, but not required
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with hearing aid manufacturers and accessories
- Familiarity with electronic health records
- Background in telehealth support
