What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product & Brand Coordinator position at Blueme | Smell the Zen?
Blueme is a Bethesda, MD–based wellness fragrance brand built around olfactory health: therapy, testing, and training. We're small, growing fast, and building a product line as scientifically grounded as it is beautiful.
The Role
You’ll support our creative team through the full life of every product, from trend and concept through fragrance development, product and texture sourcing, and packaging, all the way to launch. You’ll also work with our marketing team so that every collection is described well and launches on time. This is a full-time, in-office role at our Bethesda headquarters.
What You'll Do
- Help the creative team turn trends and lifestyle insights into product concepts
- Support fragrance development, coordinating samples, revisions, and approvals
- Source product components and textures, and manage vendors on timeline
- Support packaging development from concept and specs through to final production
- Partner with Marketing to draft collection descriptions and align launch timelines
- Own the development log and product calendar, so nothing slips
- Keep files, specs, and costs clean and current
What We're Looking For
- Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and relentless on follow-through
- About 3 years of experience in product, brand, operations, or a coordination role
- A good eye and a feel for trends, plus the discipline to carry ideas through to production
- A clear, direct communicator who flags problems early
- Coachable, hungry, and excited to learn and grow
- A background in fragrance or beauty is preferred
