Shift Hours: Evening / Night Shift - Between 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM (hours may vary)

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, professional Unarmed Security Guard with an active Virginia security license to provide evening and night security coverage at a bowling alley location. The ideal candidate must be alert, customer-service oriented, and able to maintain a safe and controlled environment during peak business hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence inside and outside the bowling alley
• Check in guests upon entry and monitor access points
• Ensure no outside food, alcohol, or weapons are brought into the building
• Perform regular standing and walking rounds throughout the facility
• Monitor crowd behavior and assist with crowd control during busy periods
• Enforce site rules and policies in a calm, professional manner
• Observe, document, and report any incidents or suspicious activity
• Communicate clearly with management, staff, and law enforcement when necessary
• Complete accurate daily activity reports (DARs)
  
  

Requirements

• Active Virginia Unarmed Security License (Required)
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English clearly
• Ability to stand for extended periods and walk rounds as required
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Ability to handle crowds and de-escalate situations professionally
• Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance
• Must pass background check and meet all state licensing requirements
