Delivery Driver (Van / Box truck)

Duties

• Safely operate a box truck or van to deliver products to residential and commercial locations across designated routes
• Load and unload cargo using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, dolly when necessary, ensuring items are secured properly for transit
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including route logs and delivery confirmations
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and addressing any concerns during deliveries
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure a safe journey at all times
• Assist with warehouse activities such as inventory management, stock replenishment, and moving supplies as needed
• Collaborate with dispatch to optimize routes for efficiency and timely deliveries

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred
• Prior delivery driver experience with Van or Box Truck operations highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Experience in warehouse environments including heavy lifting, moving, or using equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks
• Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading cargo and performing manual lifting safely
• Knowledge of route driving best practices and navigation tools
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus but not required
