The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Our property sits on 767 acres and features many indoor and outdoor facilities that make up the work environment. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and move around for the entirety or majority of their shift. The employee may be working outside or inside and in different types of weather including excessive heat, cold temperatures, rain and sunshine. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is also regularly required to push, pull, bend, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Likely this role will require the ability to drive a golf cart to transport from one area of the property to another in a safe and secure manner.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to members and guests during banquets, weddings, meetings, and special events.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of banquet rooms, ensuring tables, linens, place settings, and service stations are properly arranged according to event specifications.
- Greet guests promptly, take food and beverage orders when applicable, and ensure all service is executed efficiently and accurately.
- Serve meals and beverages in a timely and professional manner, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to club standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned service areas throughout the event, including trays, side stations, and storage areas.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or special needs during service.
- Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow and accurate order delivery.
- Adhere to all sanitation, safety, and alcohol service guidelines to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
- Assist with the polishing of silverware, glassware, and china prior to and after events.
- Support the Banquet Captain or Event Manager by following event timelines, floor plans, and service expectations.
- Communicate guest feedback or concerns to leadership as needed to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Uphold the standards and service expectations of Bluejack National and represent the club with professionalism at all times.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Bluejack leadership.
