Key Responsibilities
- Access control at the main gate as well as construction entrance.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility and parking areas.
- Identify and investigate suspicious activities and incidents.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary.
- Maintain detailed reports of incidents, investigations, and daily activities.
- Assist in training staff on loss prevention policies and procedures.
- Utilize security systems and technology to monitor and protect assets.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms and emergencies.
- Proven experience as a Security or Loss Prevention Officer.
- Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security protocols.
- Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with security equipment and surveillance systems.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional security training or certifications preferred.
- Valid Level II security license or certification as required by Texas state law.
- 5 years military, law enforcement and security experience. A mix of these may be considered
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
