Linehaul/Shuttle Driver (CDL A)

Role: This position involves safely and efficiently transporting products via tractor-trailer from the warehouse to customer locations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety and food safety protocols.

Responsibilities Include

• Transporting, loading, and unloading products according to customer specifications and route assignments.
• Completing all required paperwork accurately, including logs, inspections, and invoices.
• Maintaining proper temperatures and safety standards during delivery.
• Operating equipment safely and reporting any unsafe conditions.
• Building customer relationships through courteous communication and service.
• Reporting route, trailer, or product issues to management, and working flexible schedules as needed.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• High school diploma or GED; tractor-trailer driving experience preferred or completion of driving school.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety practices, and hazard guidelines.
• Skills in long-distance driving, problem-solving, and customer communication.
• Ability to operate large vehicles in varying conditions, perform basic math, and work independently.
  
  

Physical and Work Environment: The role requires physical effort such as lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing in/out of trailers, and working in diverse weather conditions and environments, including occasional exposure to noise, fumes, and high places. Flexibility for overtime, weekends, and holidays is essential.
