Role Description
This is a part-time or full-time on-site role 3-5 days per week for an X-ray Technologist located in Lexington, KY. The X-ray Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, following strict radiation safety guidelines, and collaborating with medical staff to support patient care. Daily tasks include operating radiologic equipment, preparing patients for imaging, and ensuring high-quality imaging results. This role also involves maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to a safe and efficient clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Proficiency in Radiation Safety and Radiologic Technology methods and protocols
- Experience in Radiology and familiarity with medical diagnostic imaging processes
- Strong understanding of medical practice and patient care standards
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records systems
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
