What are the responsibilities and job description for the WAREHOUSE-DISTRIBUTION CENTER-GLASGOW position at Bluegrass Ingredients Inc?
Title: Warehouse Personnel
Duties and Responsibilities: including, but not limited to, the following:
Maintain records for receiving of ingredients and supplies. Etc. and for shipping of production on cheese, whey and other finished good.
- Verify trailer is clean and fit to load and unload
- Operate dock doors and leveler.
- Verify bill of ladings and pick-up numbers.
- Learn to and make up loads for all departments per customer orders.
- Maintain and operate a forklift.
- Perform accurate monthly inventories.
- Transfer ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
- Complies with plant regulations concerning GMP’s, safety rules and work rules and loss control procedures.
- Responsible for identifying and addressing any food safety hazards. In the event that a food safety hazards is identified, the employee it to notify their supervisor, a member of Quality, or a member of the Leadership Team.
- Responsible for attending all required safety and food safety training.
- Required to train to drive the company truck.
- Perform any and all duties as assigned by supervisor.
Physical Demands :standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, kneeling, reaching, twisting, lifting, climbing ladders and stairs and carrying up to 85 pounds.
