Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Furniture Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, a passion for home décor, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. As a Furniture Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and helping customers find the perfect pieces to complete their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage customers with enthusiasm and a positive attitude
- Provide knowledgeable and creative design advice to customers
- Understand and demonstrate the features and benefits of our furniture products
- Develop and maintain strong product knowledge to answer customer inquiries
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales goals
- Handle sales transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, store promotions, and market trends
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Communicate and execute different customer financing options
- Answer calls and messages
- Must be able to lift furniture and reorganize the showroom floor in a team
Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience, preferably in retail or furniture sales
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- A passion for furniture and home décor is a plus
- Should be able to assemble furniture
