The PACE Center Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct personal care and supportive services to participants attending the PACE Center, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This role assists with activities of daily living, promotes safety and independence, and supports engagement in center-based activities. The CNA observes and reports changes in participant conditions, maintains a clean and safe environment, and ensures accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements. The PACE Center CNA may also assist with participant transportation as needed.

Position Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Current State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA) certification through the Kentucky Board of Nursing required.
- Completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with frail and elderly
- Food handling permit required (to be obtained upon hire).
- Maintains current CPR certification.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to changing participant needs and schedules.
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care and effectively communicate with the adult and elderly population.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions, policies, and safety procedures.
- Ability to complete accurate and timely documentation, reports, and records.
- Ability to collaborative effectively with PACE staff and members of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with participants, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Ability to solve routine problems using standardized procedures and sound judgment.
- Ability to accommodate schedule changes based on participant needs and program demands.
- Ability to follow emergency, safety, and evacuation procedures.
- Must be a licensed driver.
