What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Attendant - Part-Time weekend - Night Shift position at Bluegrass Area Horse Farm?
Our bluegrass area horse farm has an immediate opening for a Security Attendant in our Bluegrass Area Locations (Lexington, Midway, and Versailles, KY). Position is part-time, Saturday and Sunday. Remaining opening is Night shift: 6pm - 6am. Some flexibility is needed during event and other peak periods.
Current need for primary station in Midway, KY but with potential for rotation among the 3 locations depending on department needs.
The requirements are:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Neat and professional appearance
- Polite and professional demeanor
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check - No conviction history of any kind
- Valid US driver's license with a clean driving record
- Basic computer skills are a plus but not required, can be trained
- CPR or other first-responder certification a plus (but this training can be obtained after starting if necessary)
Duties include maintaining overall security of the farm, monitoring security cameras for activity at all gates, securing buildings and gates, greeting visitors professionally, monitoring/controlling construction related traffic and deliveries, picking up guests at the airport, logging incident reports for accidents or injuries on farm property, patrolling farm grounds, communicating and resolving clock-in/clock-out issues with farm employees, and occasional errands.
