Technical Sales Representative

Pay range: $65-85k DOE


Our Dilution Refrigerator Sales team is expanding, and we are now looking for a Technical Sales Representative to be responsible for our spare parts sales. You would be ensuring the smooth workflow and brilliant customer service by providing support directly to our customers, as well as internal stakeholders. Your tasks will include handling spare parts sales based on incoming requests, processing and coordinating sales orders and communicating with different team members. Experience working in the field of hardware technology and genuine interest in technology sales is a must.


To succeed in this role, you will have a bachelor's degree in business or relevant technical field. You should have experience in supporting technical sales in an international environment and using sales tools such as CRM. We need someone who is a fast learner, has an eye for detail and excellent communication skills. Since you will be handling multiple tasks simultaneously, you should have great time management and prioritizing skills, and you are able to work efficiently under pressure. You are a positive team player, with great problem-solving skills, adaptability to a fast-changing environment and innovative mindset. Our office is in Brooklyn, NY, but we also offer the flexibility of remote work for this position. Candidates that reside in the following states will be considered: California, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee. Please note that occasional in-person meetings or events may be required.


Main responsibilities

  • Independently managing technical sales of spare parts and after sales portfolio.
  • Responsible for selling spares and other related portfolio to client accounts within the US and Canada.
  • Understanding customer needs, aligning solutions to meet these needs, and being responsible for identifying, creating, executing and closing sales opportunities with client accounts.
  • Developing and executing spares and other related portfolio strategies to drive growth to meet revenue targets.
  • Assisting or leading customer tender process submissions according to set timelines.
  • Processing and coordinating sales orders for US/Canada team sales opportunities
  • Communicating with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Forecasting and tracking spare parts sales metrics and providing regular performance reports of sales
  • Preparing business and technical documentation for sales cases.

What we expect from you

  • Bachelor's degree in economics/business, or relevant technical field
  • Experience in technical sales in an international environment, preferably in hardware business
  • Experience using Salesforce/CRM
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Time management
  • Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
