Position Summary
This position supports manufacturing operations by performing entry-level furnace operator and assembly responsibilities in a precision manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working in a manufacturing environment and with industrial furnaces a plus.
Job Competencies
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, reach with arms and hands, and have hand and finger dexterity. The employee is frequently required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
This position operates in a manufacturing environment. This position interacts mostly with internal customers in a professional, courteous and cooperative manner. Mandatory PPE must be worn as required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee may occasionally be exposed to humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles; heat; cold; risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment may be moderately loud at times.

Position Summary

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Support precision, low-volume manufacturing by operating a braze furnace as part of the sub-assembly process
- Perform hands-on mechanical assembly using basic hand tools while following detailed work instructions and quality standards
- Accurately complete production and ISO quality documentation to ensure traceability and product integrity
- Develop technical skills and knowledge of the brazing process through on-the-job training, cross-training, and hands-on exposure
- Assist with inventory tracking and material handling to support efficient production flow
- Adhere to all Bluefors safety guidelines, procedures, and cleanliness requirements at all times
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in alignment with 5S and manufacturing best practices
- Work collaboratively with teammates, leads, and support functions to achieve daily production goals and support continuous improvement
- Perform additional duties as assigned
