What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bluecrest Landscape Nursery – Central Florida (Apopka area) position at Bluecrest Lawn And Landscape?
We’re looking for someone with real plant knowledge to help maintain and improve plant health at our nursery. Your main job is simple: keep plants alive, healthy, and looking good.
Responsibilities:
- Water plants properly (not over/underwatering)
- Identify plant stress, disease, and pests
- Help recover unhealthy or dying plants
- Organize and maintain nursery layout
- Assist with basic customer questions
- Keep nursery clean and structured
- Report issues before plants decline
Requirements:
- Experience with plants (nursery, landscaping, or garden center)
- Basic understanding of Florida plants and climate
- Can work independently and stay on task
- Reliable and consistent
Pay:
- $500-800/week (starting)
- Opportunity for raises based on performance
- Bonus potential for improving plant health reducing losses
Schedule:
- 5–6 days per week
- Morning shifts preferred (due to Florida heat)
Important:
We are looking for someone who already has hands-on plant experience. This is not a training position.
