What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Success Manager position at BlueCotton?

We have ambitious growth goals and need entrepreneurial minded team members who are up for the challenge. We’re hiring a Customer Success Manager (CSM) to partner closely with our Outside Sales Reps to win, launch, and grow custom merch accounts. You’ll be the steady hand in keeping clients informed, artwork accurate, timelines realistic, and jobs press‑ready, all while driving loyalty, reorders, and account expansion.
How you’ll work with Outside Sales Reps (hand-in-hand):
- Pre‑sale scoping: Collaborate with sales representatives on customer brand goals, quantities, budgets, and deadlines; translate needs into recommended garments, print methods, and finishing options.
- Artwork & approvals: Collaborate with our on-site art team to meet customer expectations and timelines for artwork proofs and approvals.
- Order execution & updates: Manage order status and communicate updates with sales representatives and clients as necessary.
- Issue resolution: Respond to order changes quickly, collaborating with the salesperson to propose viable alternatives to keep the order on schedule.
- Account growth: Collaborate with sales person to plan reorder calendars (events, seasons, launches) and identify opportunities for territory planning.
How you’ll collaborate across departments:
- Production & Art: Collaborate with sales person to ensure communication in the order process is clear and fluid. Coordinate with art & production on creating samples when needed.
- Purchasing/Receiving: Align on garment availability, substitutions, and check‑ins to avoid last‑minute surprises.
What success looks like:
- On‑time approvals and on‑time ship rates meet the customer expectation.
- Clear and accurate order entry that achieves 100% customer satisfaction.
- Healthy reorder cadence and increased average order value.
- New customer retention & revenue growth. They are happy!

The experience you’ll bring:
- 2-3 years of customer success experience
- Experience working alongside and supporting sales representatives
- Experience building relationships with corporate customers
- Strong client communication and expectation‑setting
- Experience with CRM and order management systems
- Curiosity, passion, competitiveness, growth mindset
- Knowledge of the apparel industry is a plus!

Job specifics:
- Full-time
- 100% Onsite position with flexibility to go offsite for customer visits
- Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with an hour lunch break
- Starting Salary: $50k with bonus potential
